SKYEYE

HEAVY METAL

Slovenian heavy metal band SkyEye was founded in 2014 by guitarist Grega Stalowsky, bassist Primož Lovšin and singer Jan Leščanec. SkyEye got its current line-up in 2016 when guitarist Marko Kavčnik and drummer Jurij Nograšek joined the band. Unique and powerful vocals combined with raw and melodic guitar riffs give the band its signature heavy metal sound, reminescent of other major representatives of the genre, like Iron Maiden, Saxon or Judas Priest. The band made its debut appearance in June 2017, and only four months later brought out its first EP under the title Run for Your Life. The overwhelmingly positive response and strong support at their performances drove the SkyEye back into the studio to record their debut album DIGITAL GOD, which was released on November 9, 2018.

SILVER BULLET

SILVER BULLET

SILVER BULLET

Powerfully orchestrated, riff-infused Symphonic Power Metal

Silver Bullet’s inception dates back to the year 2008 when the band was founded under the name of Dirge Eternal and it was around this time that the quintet started carving its very own niche by basing their entire lyrics on the gloriously gory genre of horror movies. The first demos already served as ominous harbingers of the gloriousness that was to come, before former Dreamtale vocalist Nils Nordling and ex Turisas bass player Hannes Horma completed the pack and helped forging the full-length debut “Screamworks” that was released in mid-2016. The album’s guiding theme – classic horror movies – was masterfully transferred to the stage, with actors serving as zombie nurses, possessed little girls and even as a chainsaw-wielding lunatic, making Silver Bullet’s notoriously entertaining live shows an audiovisual experience in a class of its own. After an extensive and highly successful stretch of touring, the Finns will return with their second offering of powerfully orchestrated, riff-infused Symphonic Power Metal in 2019. Though the backdrop of horror flicks was left behind, “Mooncult” nevertheless serves as a real spine-chiller, offering a hauntingly thrilling plot set in the vastnesses of Scotland that is loosely based on a true story. Having teamed up with up-and-coming metal powerhouse Reaper Entertainment Europe, new shores of eerie excellence are just a knife’s throw away. Brace yourselves to be ripped apart by silver bullets of purest heavy metal!

NECROTTED

NECROTTED

NECROTTED

Brutal Death Metal

Fast, brutal, slamming and with a distinct message in their music: Necrotted from southern Germany are a bearer of hope for modern death metal!

Founded back in 2008, the band from Abtsgmünd (Baden-Wuerttemberg) still invigorates the scene and continuously convinces its growing fan base as well as the music press. Not only the three full-length albums ‘Anchors Apart’ (2012), ‘Utopia 2.0’ (2014) and ‘Worldwide Warfare’ (2017) and the two EPs ‘Kingdom Of Hades’ (2010) and ‘Die For Something Worthwhile’ (2019) are registered in the band’s history, but also hundreds of live concerts in different countries in which Necrotted already unleashed their pure energy on various stages.

Sweeping and melodic guitar riffs combined with blaring blast beats and rough, stomping slam parts form the brutal mixture of the quintet. The musical sound is rounded off by deep and high-pitched guttural vocals, emphasizing the catchy refrains and lyrical highlights of the songs. The new album ‘Operation: Mental Castration’ follows this trend and consistently enhances the soundscape of the band. Also, the album once again comes up with a sophisticated lyrical concept, characteristic for Necrotted.

Written and recorded in 2020, ‘Operation: Mental Castration’ will be released through the aspiring label Reaper Entertainment Europe in early 2021 and will set a new benchmark for modern, diversified death metal.

MENTAL CARE FOUNDATION

MENTAL CARE FOUNDATION

MENTAL CARE FOUNDATION

Beer’n Thrash

It would be an educated guess to state that around 90% of bands get started in Bars or Pubs, Mental Care Foundation (MCF) is no exeption in that regard. Founded in small city of Kokkola on the westcoast of Finland, the four guys knew about each other from before but didn’t really become friends until the band started. By the end of 2003 the band had begun to rehearse a set comprised of mainly Slayer and Pantera covers…getting bored rather quickly it was evident that the next move was to write their own material. Thei music was pretty much in the vein of their idols , following the style of the bands that they had previously covered.

SUOTANA

SUOTANA

SUOTANA

Finnish Melodic Death Metal

After five long years from their latest release, Finnish metallers Suotana have emerged straight from the everfrost with a new album ‘’Ounas I’’, set for release on March 17, 2023! This full-length release is an epic continuation of the journey its predecessor ‘’Land of the Ending Time’’ began in 2018, and propels the band to a new height. ‘’Ounas I’’ contains 41 freezing minutes of music, including five brand-new Suotana tracks and one ‘Suotanized’ version of Summoning’s “Land of the Dead”.

The album artwork captures the atmosphere of northern nature and landscapes from which the band was born. Guitarist and songwriter Ville Rautio states,”’Ounas I’ is a concept album which carries the listener through the ages, binding ancient history and the present day. The journey’s epic finale is a 13-minute mammoth of a song, ‘River Ounas’. This black metal-infused odyssey leads us to the current time, where preserving nature’s diversity is becoming more relevant than ever before.”

Musically, the album introduces nuances while remaining firmly planted in familiar Suotana sounds, including melodic death metal, melodic black metal, and a dash of power metal. The most remarkable differences are the guests on the album. Keyboard player Veli-Matti Kananen (Kalmah) and female vocalist Mora contribute their own unique talents.

Originally founded in 2005 as guitarist Ville Rautio’s solo project, Suotana’s upward trajectory was not diminished by several line-up changes in the wake of their 2014 debut album, “Forgotten Soil Of This Land”. The sextet joined the Reaper Entertainment family and released two more energetic full-length albums to critical acclaim, “Frostrealm” (2015) and “Land Of The Ending Time” (2018). The current lineup includes vocalist Tuomo Marttinen, guitarist Pasi Portaankorva, keyboardist Tommi Neitola, bassist Rauli Alaruikka, and drummer Rauli Juopperi.

Suotana’s catalog contains a common thread: music and cover artwork are carefully interwoven to draw an impressive portrait of vast, deserted winter landscapes, whose gloomy atmosphere of oppressive loneliness runs like a heavy, dark band through the entire work.
