Wolfheart is a Finnish melodic death metal band founded by multi-instrumentalist Tuomas Saukkonen in 2013 in Lahti, Finland. Known for their powerful blend of crushing riffs, atmospheric melodies and epic Nordic soundscapes, the band often describes their music as “winter metal.” Inspired by the harsh beauty of the Finnish wilderness, Wolfheart combines aggressive death metal with cinematic arrangements and dark, melancholic atmospheres. Since their debut album Winterborn, the band has established itself as one of the leading acts in modern melodic death metal.
